Eclectic Trend for 2010
It looks like for 2010, design is headed in an Eclectic direction where not just one style is prominent in a room. Styles that usually aren’t mixed are and the results are modern and glamorous. It doesn’t mean that anything goes….all the styles still need to have relations to one another so that the room is still cohesive and pulled together.
For me, Kelly Wearstler is the designer that comes to mind when I think of eclectic designs. She is best known for her colourful mod designs in which she mixes baroque and art deco influences. Here are some of my favorite rooms of hers. What are your thoughts? Love the new eclectic trend or hate it?

Love Kelly Wearstler’s look. If you want to see some of her influence check out interiors by Hollywood Designer William Haynes, he is also a favourite of mine and did really great things back in the “Hollywood Glam Era”
