Just because I know Pip loves Kelly Hoppen, and adores her style as do I, I thought i’d do a little dedication!  Coming across Ms. Hoppen’s townhome located near London’s Portobello’s Road Market, my jealousy, envy, and desire hit the roof!  As a world-renowned designer, you would expect nothing less for her own home.  Here are a few design principles she abided by:

-The living room occupies the entire second floor of the townhouse. This area boasts black lining on the gold silk drapes, a fireplace wall covered in a reflective glass, and small sculptural Christian Liagere tables.  The eclectic feel of this space demonstrates layers of luxury, texture, and just pure ‘Glam!’

-This black & white kitchen carries a modernized vintage appeal, as well as vintage stools which accent  the classic sliver globe lighting fixtures

-A warm ambiance is provided in the large gathering area of the dining room, and I esspecially like the way repetition is used.  The lighting pendants are by Kevin Reilly andthe seating by  Christian Liagere.
