So many of us are lucky to have unique antiques passed down to us from parents, grandparents, or even great grand parents.  Though, lets be honest… sometimes they’re just not in the best of condition or/ they look like they’ve been in grandma’s attic for the last 100 years.  The best, easiest, and most economical way to Rejuvenate any antique is simply through a nice coat of paint.  IF you want to take it that extra step, and if it’s an upholstered piece, just recover it with a funky fabric, leather, a whimsical print, or modern pattern.  The great thing about old antique dining chairs is that most of them are staple-back upholstery which makes it that much easier. For that last touch, you could also introduce a modern nailhead- such as the one applied to the chairs below.  It offers a glamorous look!

Though at the end of the day, think about the possibilities with what you have, and what you can save from the dumpster.  There are so many beautifully made antiques out there, and they deserve a home too!
