I recently came upon an older collection Bisazza Tile had created in collaboration with Marcel Wanders; one of my favorite designers!  This mosaic tile pattern entitled ‘Snowflake’ has a “dreamy” aesthetic, and is just so dynamic that I had to bring it back to the spotlight…I also found it interesting that the design was originally created for the lobby of the Rivington Hotel in the Big NYC.  It’s amazing what doors large scale commercial projects can open sometimes- products such as this can be realized! 

In order to achieve a unique pattern such as ‘Snowflake,’ there are a series of modules which are computer generated, and then formulated from several shades of whites and greys.  The glass mosaics measure up to only 10 x 10mm, but prove to be a strong application for both commercial and residential spaces.
